The brutal murder of Fusilier Lee Rigby is a dark day in the history of our borough. As we approach the tenth anniversary, our thoughts are with his family.
In accordance with the wishes of the family we ask the public not to leave flags, tributes or memorabilia at the site of his murder, and instead commemorate Lee by making a donation to either the Fusilier Aid Society, the Lee Rigby Foundation or Scotty’s Little Soldiers."
