There will be weekly public tours at 1pm each Wednesday, starting from 1 March. Each tour will have space for a maximum of 35 people.

Guests will meet, learn about and even feed some of the park’s furry friends. The tours are free, and spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Councillor Adel Khaireh, Cabinet Member for Equalities, Culture and Communities, said: “Fun, free and family friendly, the public tours at Maryon Wilson Animal Park are a great way to get close to nature on your doorstep.

“We’re home to over 100 parks and open spaces, each of them offering unique features to local residents. With spring on the way, now is the perfect time to explore them!”

One of 100 parks and open spaces in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Maryon Wilson Park is located in Charlton and is part of the Green Chain Walk.
