Applications for Royal Greenwich Festivals funding in 2023 are now open.

The Royal Greenwich Festivals (RGF) funding programme has been delivering high quality cultural events for 13 years. This year, the Royal Borough of Greenwich granted RGF funding to Tramshed, Greenwich + Dockland International Festival, Emergency Exit Arts, Greenwich Parks Forum and Greenwich Dance

Cllr Adel Khaireh, Cabinet Member for Culture, Communities and Equalities said: “This year, there were a variety of inspired events in all areas of the borough. The creativity and interactivity that our applicants had at their events was unrivalled – I was hugely impressed. We’re a borough with rich history, vibrant diversity and the Royal Greenwich Festivals programme allows this to be showcased through the arts. I’m already excited for next year!”

In 2023, the Council is aiming to once again bring a vibrant mix of free events to Royal Greenwich.

Funding is for any cultural or festival organisation that understands The Royal Borough of Greenwich and its diverse communities. You must be able to help showcase the borough’s unique culture through creative events. Successful applicants will need to deliver their projects next summer.
So whether its dance or comedy, film or theatre, inside or outdoors; if you think you can pull off something spectacular, apply for the Royal Greenwich Festivals fund!

We've extended the application deadline to 12pm on Monday 19 December.
