Today, the Royal Borough of Greenwich has launched a special survey to better understand what matters most to people and businesses so we can plan for the future.

This will be ‘Our Greenwich’, a plan that outlines the Council’s strategic vision and priorities for the next four years (2022-2026). The plan will highlight some of the biggest challenges we face as a borough, and the missions we will set ourselves going forward.

Through a new consultation we are putting our residents and communities at the heart of planning and design to make sure that our borough works for everyone.

Councillor Anthony Okereke, Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, said: “This borough belongs to us all. We all have our own connections, our own stories. That’s why this plan is so important, because it will be ours too.

“Whether your family has been here for generations, or you are making your mark in Greenwich for the first time, we’re asking for help from everybody to help us shape what the next four years will look like.

“After everything that we’ve been through in the last few years, Our Greenwich will act as the first page in a new chapter for the borough, but we don’t want to write it alone.

“We want to speak to everyone, young and old, from all walks of life, to really understand what makes this Our Greenwich. We should all have a say in how we tackle issues, build communities, and make Greenwich the best it can be.

“We want to encourage collaboration between the Council and our communities by inviting key stakeholders and interest groups to work with us. Together, we can build a brighter, greener, and more prosperous future for Royal Greenwich.”
