Woolwich Summer Lates will conclude with its biggest celebration yet as the Woolwich Carnival, live entertainment, global street food and young entrepreneurs transform Woolwich town centre into a vibrant showcase of culture, creativity and community on Saturday 12 September.
The finale marks the culmination of the council's summer-long programme, which has brought thousands of visitors into the heart of Woolwich through a series of free events, markets and performances designed to support local businesses and showcase the town's diverse cultural offer.
From Thursday 10 to Saturday 12 September, Beresford Square will come alive with food, music, creative activities and late-night shopping, providing residents and visitors with one final opportunity to experience the energy and atmosphere that has made Woolwich Summer Lates a highlight of the summer.

Funded by the Mayor of London’s Summer Streets programme, Woolwich Summer Lates means there is something different happening in Beresford Square between 10 and 12 September, from 3 to 9pm, as part of an extended evening market.
On Thursday, there will stalls from artisan sellers, a pop-up library and book sale thanks to Better and a set from DJ Just Louis.
Live music comes courtesy of Busk in London on Friday evening along with free fitness sessions and the pop-up library, both from Better.
Beresford Square is where it’s at after the Woolwich Carnival on Saturday. As a go-to place for bold global flavours, it’s only fitting that on the last evening there is food prepared by chefs selected by the Windrush Museum in partnership with Island Delight and Voice Newspaper.
There is also an array of unique products to buy from entrepreneurs under 30 who have completed training with the award-winning Academy of Success as part of their Young Trader Programme plus more performances from Taru Arts.
The Woolwich Carnival, organised by Taru Arts and funded by the council as part of Royal Greenwich Festivals, starts at 12 noon and includes an extravaganza of music, dance, and free activities from Our Heritage UK. The colourful community parade starts at 2pm moving from the Royal Arsenal to General Gordon Square.
