Greenwich residents are invited to come together in a celebration of peace, friendship and community at the Multi Faith Forum Peace Walk on Sunday 6 September, from 2pm until 4pm.
The walk is open to everyone, whatever your faith, background or beliefs, and offers an opportunity to meet new people, reflect on our shared values and celebrate the diversity that makes Greenwich such a welcoming borough.
Participants will gather at St George's Garrison Church, before walking together through Woolwich and visiting Gurdwara Sahib, and General Gordon Square, ending at Greenwich Islamic Centre.
The Peace Walk is organised by the Royal Greenwich Multifaith Forum, which brings together local faith leaders, the council and public sector partners to strengthen relationships, encourage dialogue and support community cohesion across the borough.
The event builds on the success of the borough’s first Multifaith Week in 2024 and continues the Forum’s work to bring communities together through understanding, respect and collaboration.
