We’ve recently given the Woolwich Arsenal Pier a major glow-up with bright new lighting, making it safer and easier for passengers to catch boat services on dark winter nights.
This lighting is one of the upgrades being made to the public realm in our borough and underlines our commitment to improving all aspects of transport in Royal Greenwich, however you get around.
Councillor Calum O'Byrne Mulligan, Cabinet Member for Climate Action, Sustainability and Transport, said: “As the home of the largest riverfront in London on the banks of the world-famous Thames, our borough draws visitors from all over the world – often via the capital’s iconic River Bus services. We’re getting things done by installing these much-needed lighting upgrades, making it safer and easier than ever to travel across our borough by boat.”
The drone footage we’ve captured puts a spotlight on these vital improvements to the Woolwich Arsenal Pier. River Bus services also stop in Maritime Greenwich as well as the Peninsula, home to the O2.
