Help shape the future of homecare in Royal Greenwich

Two hands holding each other.

We are inviting residents to have their say in shaping the future of homecare services in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Homecare services are everyday tasks to support people to live safely and independently in their own homes, including help with daily activities, personal care, and supporting wellbeing.

The council is reviewing how these services are delivered in the future and wants to hear directly from residents to make sure they meet local needs. Residents are invited to take part in friendly discussion sessions to share their experiences and ideas.

We would particularly like to hear from people who:

  • currently receive care at home
  • have a family member who receives care at home
  • think they may need this type of support in the future.

The best services are designed with the people who use them. By sharing your experiences, you can help ensure that homecare in Royal Greenwich is accessible, effective and meets the needs of residents now and in the future.

We understand that there can be barriers to taking part in engagement activities. If you choose to work with us on an ongoing basis, you will be fairly compensated for your time, and additional support can be arranged where needed.

A council spokesperson said: “We are committed to working with our residents to design services that truly meet their needs. Homecare plays a vital role in helping people live safely and independently, and it’s essential that we hear from those who use these services, as well as those who may need them in the future.
