Get involved in a week of free and low-cost activities for the whole family from Saturday 14 February to Saturday 21 February.
If you’re looking for ways to keep the kids active, entertained (and away from screens!) during the school break, keep reading. From free healthy lunches, spring-inspired crafts, Lego, rhyme time and teen author events at our libraries to soft play and sports activities at our leisure centres, there’s something for everyone.
Councillor Adel Khaireh, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said:
“As we head into half-term, we’re wishing all our children and young people a restful break. We’re ensuring no child goes hungry outside of school-time by continuing to provide free healthy lunches to kids at our libraries. There’s no fuss with holiday meals; they’re available to anyone who needs one, no questions asked. This forms part of our effort to make sure every child in Royal Greenwich can reach their potential.
“Families can look forward to a great line-up of free and affordable fun, educational and engaging events throughout the week, with many activities funded by the council. As the days grow longer, it’s a good time to head to one of our amazing, award-winning parks and open spaces to spot the first signs of spring."
