Update on council cabinet responsibilities

Councillor Calum O'Byrne Mulligan has joined the Council’s cabinet to temporarily lead on Climate Action, Sustainability and Transport. 

The Greenwich Creekside councillor will take interim responsibility from Deputy Leader Cllr Averil Lekau, who is off for a period of absence.  

At the same time, Cllr Denise Hyland will act on behalf of the Council Leader during Cllr Okereke's upcoming period of absence in light of a family bereavement. 

Cllr Hyland is a former Leader of the Council and currently the cabinet member for Resources.

These are temporary arrangements to ensure continuity of political leadership and decision making during this period.
