A Thames Water leak at Eglinton Hill has caused surface flooding to nearby roads. Thames Water is on site to locate and fix the leak, supported by the council’s Highway Team.
Road closures are in place at Eglinton Hill - between Nithdale Road and Herbert Road - and Ripon Road while Thames Water investigate and resolve the issue.
Diversions will be signposted, and the 244 bus is being rerouted via Academy Road to Woolwich Common. The 386 bus route is unaffected.
Traffic is likely to build up in the local area and driving conditions may also be affected so please take an alternative route if you can.
