The Royal Borough of Greenwich is inviting residents to share their views on local pharmacy services as part of our Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) for 2026 to 2029.
Pharmacies play a vital role in our community, offering much more than prescriptions. From expert health advice and vaccinations to support for long-term conditions, they are often the first point of contact for many residents seeking healthcare.
We want to understand how residents use their local pharmacies and what services they value most, to help shape future provision across the borough. The consultation will help the council, NHS and other partners ensure that pharmacy services meet the needs of our residents, both now and in the years ahead.
Councillor Mariam Lolavar, Cabinet Member for Health, Adult Social Care and Borough of Sanctuary said: “Pharmacies are a cornerstone of community healthcare across our borough. This assessment is a chance for residents to tell us how well pharmacy services are working for them, and where we can do better. Their feedback will help us make sure that everyone has access to the right advice, medicines and support when they need it, and that everyone’s health supports them in living their best life.”
Residents can take part by completing a short online survey before Monday 15th December 2025. The survey is open to everyone who lives, works or studies in the borough.
The feedback will be used to produce a new Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, which will guide how pharmacy services are planned and delivered in Greenwich over the next three years.
