Royal Borough of Greenwich is launching an online survey to gather feedback on its three main town centres – Eltham, Greenwich and Woolwich – on 1 December.
Earlier this month, the council announced £2.1million investment in our town centres and we want to hear from everyone – residents, shoppers, commuters, workers and local businesses – about the town centre they visit most frequently.
Councillor Jackie Smith, Cabinet Member for Inclusive Economy, Business, Greenwich Supports and Environmental Services, said: “Town centres play a big role in our daily lives. It is where we shop, work and socialise. We are investing in Woolwich, Eltham and Greenwich to ensure that all three town centres are vibrant, prosperous and well-maintained places. We want to hear from as many people are possible about the town centre they go to the most. This valuable insight will help us shape how services are delivered.”
We want your views on a variety of issues from whether you visit during the day or night, what you think about shopping and entertainment, cleanliness and maintenance, way finding, feelings of safety, and what needs improving.
There are two version of the surveys – one aimed at town centre visitors and residents, and the other aimed at businesses. The consultation will run for twelve weeks.
Take part in the survey online.
