Parks and open spaces in Royal Greenwich are continuing to shine, taking home multiple Gold Awards at this year’s London in Bloom awards.
The competition recognises local authorities, parks, friends of parks, community groups, and schools across the capital for making areas greener, cleaner and safer.

Gold Award and Crematorium of the Year 2025 - Eltham Crematorium
Eltham Crematorium is governed by a joint committee from Bexley, Greenwich and Dartford, has been acknowledged for the exceptional care and dedication in maintaining peaceful and well-kept spaces for the community.
Councillor Sandra Bauer, Cabinet Member for Equality, Culture and Communities, said: “We’re delighted to be recognised for consecutive years for our efforts to keep Royal Greenwich green and welcoming. These awards are a reflection of the dedication of our staff, residents and volunteers who work hard all year round to care for our parks and open spaces.
