World renowned Contemporary Print Fair returns to Woolwich for seventh year running

Friday 14 October 2022

The seventh annual Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair is back from 3 to 6 November.

The event will take over award-winning arts venue, Woolwich Works each day from 12 to 10pm. An online edition will run from 3 to 13 November.

Councillor Adel Khaireh, Cabinet Member for Equalities, Culture and Communities, said: “Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair was born as a start-up project, right here in Royal Greenwich.

“It fills me with pride to see it return to Woolwich for a seventh year. This event showcases the unique and diverse arts scene that our local communities have built, and cements Woolwich on the map when it comes to creativity and culture.

“With the Elizabeth Line right next door, this year I look forward to seeing both residents and people from across London and beyond enjoying what our borough has to offer.”

As the UK’s largest fair dedicated entirely to contemporary print, the event was recently ranked in the top 40 art platforms worldwide.

This year, it will feature work from over 500 artists and galleries, including the likes of Yinka Shonibare, Grayson Perry and Tracey Emin. The annual curated hang exhibits these household names alongside independent, up and coming artists.

Woolwich is just 20 minutes from the West End on the Elizabeth line and Woolwich Works is a short walk from the station.

Standard tickets are £10.50, concessions are £8.50.
