Physical visa documents are being replaced with an online record of your immigration status.
From 2025, physical immigration documents will no longer be valid.
These documents include:
- biometric residence permits
- biometric residence cards
- passport endorsements such as indefinite leave to remain stamps
- vignette stickers in passports such as entry clearance or visa vigenettes
You must apply for an eVisa before 31 December 2024.
