Support for dyslexic adult learners

Dyslexia affects at least ten per cent of the population. It's most often described as a difficulty with processing written language.

Often, dyslexic adults were not identified at school and therefore may not discover that they are dyslexic until they go to college, university or work. However support is available.

You can find out more about dyslexia on the NHS Choices website.

Disabled Students' Allowance

You may be able to apply for a Disabled Students' Allowance, an allowance that covers extra costs you might incur on your course as a direct result of your dyslexia.

You can find out about Disabled Students' Allowance on the Gov.UK website.
