Self directed support workshops
The Council will be hosting a series of workshops to discuss our self-directed support service. The first of these took place in May.
We are committed to making sure that people are as in control of their care and support as they want to be. One way to achieve this is for residents to use self-directed support to arrange their own care and support.
In the workshops, we will have conversations about the experiences of people who use self-directed support and plan what needs to change to improve it.
