There will be temporary traffic changes in place on Quilter Street while the demolition and start of the main building works for the new Plumstead Library take place. Hoarding is being put up around the entire library site and along Quilter street.

The changes will be in place from September 2018 until Autumn 2019.

You won't be able to use the parking bays on Quilter Street and along the junction connecting to Speranza Street - notices are in place on the street.

From 19 November, one side of the road will be closed so that vehicles and machinery can get access to the site. A temporary one-way system will be put in place to manage the traffic.
