You'll need to renew your Freedom Pass after 5 years. The expiry date is always 31 March. 

We'll send you a renewal form through the post well in advance. You'll need to fill it in and send it back to us as soon as possible and before the expiry date.   

We cannot confirm receipt of your form, but we'll contact you if: 

• we need more information 
• you need to attend a mobility assessment 
• you're no longer eligible for a pass  

You'll get your new pass before your old one expires.   

If you move to another London borough, you can use your Freedom Pass until it expires. You'll need to contact your new borough to renew it.
