Grants for local projects

If you have an idea for a local project then you can apply for a grant from the Greenwich Neighbourhood Growth Fund.

You can apply for amounts over £5,000. The maximum depends on the area your project is based in.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 28 October 2018.

There'll be a public vote in December 2018 to help decide which projects receive funding.

Successful proposals will be notified by January 2019 with projects to start from March 2019.

Who can apply

Organisations such as registered charities and companies, and individuals can apply.

If you're an individual, then you'll need to apply in partnership with a constituted organisation (My Community website).

What kind of projects

The Greenwich Neighbourhood Growth Fund can be spent on anything which addresses the impact of development in an area.

This could include projects which provide community facilities, environmental improvements, new play equipment, and improvements to community buildings.

Projects should address the issues that most need improving in each area, as identified by the 2017 Greenwich Residents Survey.

The funding will support the set up costs but not the ongoing maintenance and running costs.
