Want to be involved in our Windrush Celebration?

The event will take place on Friday 21 June, between 4pm and 8pm.

We're looking to commission an exciting programme of content from the Caribbean as part of a Windrush celebration in Woolwich this Summer. Micro grants will be available for the following:

  • Live Caribbean performances – this can include music, dance and spoken word (we will provide a basic PA set-up for the event)
  • Caribbean Arts and crafts workshops
  • Caribbean-influenced activities for children, young people and families

You can apply for a micro grant of up to £300 per performance/activity.

If you are interested in being involved, please answer the following in no more the 250 words:

  • Your name, organisation name, website and social media
  • Details of your proposed activity/performance/idea
  • Examples of past events that you have participated in

If you have any content ideas that showcase what Windrush Day means to communities across the borough, please email your response to artsgreenwich@royalgreenwich.gov.uk by 5pm on Wednesday 8 May.

In addition, please also get in touch if you would like to run a food/drink or craft stall, or you are a local organisation or charity and would also like to participate or have an information stall.
