In line with the government announcement, Blackheath, Eltham Park South, Maryon Park and Plumstead Common tennis courts are open.
From Friday 22 May, the tennis courts at Altash Gardens, Bostall Gardens, Fairy Hill Park, Kidbrooke Green and Maryon Park will also be open.
To support social distancing, a reduced number of courts will be available.
There is a maximum of two people per court (singles play only) where players are from different households. Four players from the same household can play doubles. Only one-to-one coaching sessions are allowed but social distancing will be required during these sessions.
Blackheath and Eltham Park South tennis courts will need to be booked in advance, for all other courts, you can turn up and play on a first-come-first-served basis.
Social distancing guidelines are:
Stay at least two metres away from other players at all times (including during play, when taking breaks and before and after play)
Do not make physical contact with other players (such as shaking hands or a high five)
Stay on your side of court and avoid changing ends, or agree to change ends at opposite sides of the net
