Courses in food hygiene

It's important for your business that all staff who handle food, do it safely and hygienically.

We recommend that:

  • all food-handlers complete a Level 2 Food Safety in Catering qualification
  • at least 1 person with this qualification is on site at all times to supervise safe food-handling and storage

If your staff complete the training it helps:

  • them understand the need for safe food-handling and storage
  • them put good practices in place
  • protect your staff and customers from food-related risks

There are a several organisations offering level 2 food safety training that leads to a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Food Safety.
