Recognised providers

The Workspace provides list is managed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich and is available to developers to ensure they partner with a recognised provider as they design and plan new projects.  

All providers listed have experience of developing a range of workspace and have expressed an interest in working with partners in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, if they are not already working here. The providers on the list offer a range of services, including: 

  • affordable workspace 
  • space for local businesses 
  • business support for tenants 
  • community engagement 
  • local employment 
  • local supply chain 

The listed providers are committed to supporting businesses at different stages of development and across a range of sectors of the borough’s economy, with the aim to provide a range of flexible and adaptable space for Greenwich businesses. 

Applications to join the list are opened in March and September each year and a link to apply to join the list will appear on this page.

Arbeit Project Ltd 

Arbeit Project Ltd provides affordable creative work spaces for artists, designers, small businesses and start-ups, as well as business support, event and gallery space and a shared environment for innovative collaboration and community involvement. Arbeit owns and manages over 150 studios across 10 sites of different sizes from 1,000sqft to over 30,000sqft, using a mixed-use model with a range of practitioners and companies, in short and long-term agreements, and working with developers on commercial strategies and S106 agreements.

Artists Studio Company (ASC) 

Established as a charity in 1995, Artists Studio Company is a leading affordable workspace provider to artists and designer-makers, currently supporting over 600 artists in workspaces across 10 buildings in 6 London Boroughs. ASC also stages exhibitions and cultural events, provides grants and training and runs community projects.  Active in acquiring new buildings, ASC will consider freehold, long leasehold and meanwhile property in all London boroughs up to 100,000sqft.

Bow Arts 

Established in 1994, Bow Arts manages eleven different studio sites across London and is developing more. They also operate a live and work scheme throughout Bow, which provides housing for practising artists who have an interest in community work, including the iconic Balfron Tower. Current workspace schemes support over 500 artists with affordable safe spaces to work and grow.

Enterprise4Good 

Enterprise4Good, is a Hackney-based social enterprise. It designs, develops and operates community-based spaces in London and Essex, supporting local enterprises and entrepreneurs to start-up, survive, collaborate and grow. Enterprise4Good has extensive experience in delivering social impact through regeneration of new-build and re-purposed properties, working with a blank-sheet business plan to ensure economic growth, changing redundant spaces into vibrant, all-inclusive, affordable flexible workspaces, reinvesting profits into Enterprise4Good Centres to deliver free business support.

Kings Cross Impact Hub Kings Cross Impact Hub

The Fairlight Group Ltd

The Fairlight Group offers managed and serviced offices with flexible workspace solutions to suit different space and capacity requirements which includes co-working to a thirty-person office.
