Greenwich residents are in urgent need of affordable housing, and as part of our commitment to addressing this crisis we’re embarking upon a new, large-scale programme of home-building across the borough.

One of the areas we're looking to build is in Ridgebrook Road, and we’re keen to hear the views of those living in the surrounding area.

Where we might build

You can see the area we're thinking of building on marked on the map below:

What we're thinking of building

Current studies suggest that the site at Bournbrook Road could be developed to provide fifteen two bedroom houses and 10 three bedroom two-storey houses with shared gardens, however these early plans are subject to change. You can see an early plan of how the homes could be laid out, however to repeat please note that this is subject to change.

When we hope to start building

Following our consultation with residents we would hope to submit a planning application in early 2020. If planning approval is given this would likely be in Spring/Summer 2020. On this timeline we would anticipate building work being completed sometime in early 2021. Please note this is a provisional timeline and is therefore subject to change. (Updated 29 November 2019)

How you can have your say

We will soon contact all neighbouring residents inviting them to a consultation meeting.
