Greenwich residents are in urgent need of affordable housing, and as part of our commitment to addressing this crisis we’re embarking upon a new, large-scale programme of home-building across the borough.

One of the areas we're looking to build is in Strongbow Crescent, and we’re keen to hear the views of those living in the surrounding area.

Where we might build

You can see the area we're thinking of building on marked on the map below:

What we're thinking of building

Our current plans are for three two-bedroom houses with three parking spaces, however these early plans are subject to change. You can see a very early concept of how these homes could look below, once again this is just an idea of what we might build and could change:

When we hope to start building

Following our consultation with residents we hope to submit a planning application in autumn 2019. If planning approval is given we would anticipate building work beginning in spring 2020, and the homes being finished in summer 2020.

How you can have your say

Neighbouring residents are invited to attend our consultation event from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday 2 October at

Strongbow Community Hall
Strongbow Crescent
SE9 1DP

Alternatively you can tell us what you think via our online consultation portal which is open until 6 October, just click here to access.
