How to arrange a conversion

You can convert a civil partnership into a marriage (Gov.UK) with the Royal Borough of Greenwich in any of the following ways:

  • have a simple conversion with a deputy superintendent registrar at the register office
  • have a renewal of vows and signing of the declaration at the register office
  • have a renewal of vows and signing of the declaration at a licensed venue of your choice.

You both need to attend the register office and bring along certain identification documents to complete the declaration.

Contact the Register Office for booking and more information.
