If you're not happy with a decision we've made, you can appeal to the First-tier Tribunal. You'll need to do this within 28 days from when we issued the final licence.

You can appeal if:

  • we refused to issue you a licence
  • we issued a licence that you do not agree with
  • we revoked your licence
  • we varied a licence
  • we refused to vary a licence
  • you do not agree with the licence conditions or limitations

You'll need to appeal on the GOV.UK website.

Appeal a property licence

You cannot transfer a licence. If you need to change the licence holder, you'll need to make a new licence application and pay the fee.
