Identify anti-social behaviour (ASB) and hate crime
Anti-social behaviour is behaviour which causes, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress. For example:
- groups causing a nuisance
- vandalism or property damage, including to communal areas
- noise nuisance
- harassment and verbal abuse
- threats to an individual

A hate crime or incident is when anyone believes the victim has been targeted because of their:
- disability
- race or ethnic identity
- religion or belief
- gender or gender identity
- sexual orientation
These characteristics are protected under the Equality Act 2010.
