Let’s Talk Women’s Health
Join us for a welcoming and informative Women and Girls’ Health & Wellbeing Event, bringing together local health professionals, services and wellbeing providers to provide advice, information and support on a range of women’s health topics.
The event is open to women of all ages and offers an opportunity to hear from experts, ask questions and speak directly with local organisations about the services and support available.
What to expect
Throughout the day, there will be a programme of informative talks and interactive wellbeing sessions covering:
Sexual Health & Contraception
Learn about contraceptive choices, STI prevention and testing, and how to access local sexual health services.
Women’s Mental Health
Explore anxiety, depression and stress, the impact of hormonal changes on mental wellbeing, building resilience and accessing local support.
Guided Meditation
Take some time to relax and reset with a guided mindfulness session focused on promoting wellbeing.
Menopause
Find out more about common menopause symptoms, treatment options, lifestyle changes and self-management. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
Heavy Menstrual Bleeding & Endometriosis
Learn how to recognise symptoms, when to seek help, diagnosis and treatment pathways, and ways of living well with ongoing symptoms.
Movement & Wellbeing
Take part in a gentle, chair-based Pilates and movement session suitable for all abilities.
Women's Health & Wellbeing Marketplace
The marketplace will be open throughout the event, giving you the opportunity to meet local organisations and services from across the two boroughs.
You can drop in between sessions, speak directly with health and wellbeing providers, find out what support is available locally and pick up useful information and resources.
Outdoor Wellbeing Area
Take some time for yourself in our outdoor wellbeing area, available throughout the event.
Relax and enjoy hand massage and chair-based neck and shoulder massage from our wellbeing providers.
