How to book:
To secure your slot, book in advance by emailing gpep@tcv.org.uk with the number of children, their ages (recommended 4+), and how many adults will be accompanying them. You can take your chance on the day too – enquire at the office and, if there are spaces left, they'll add you to the list (on a first-come, first-served basis).
Price:
Discover minibeasts and reptiles from around the world in an interactive session led by expert handlers. Visitors will learn about their fascinating adaptations and behaviours, have the opportunity to handle some of the animals, and find out how they differ from species found in the UK.
Three free one-hour sessions will take place at 10am, 11:30am and 2pm in the classroom. Visitors should ask at the Gatehouse for directions.
Spaces are limited to 12 participants per session (plus accompanying adults). Participants are encouraged to arrive on time, as doors will close once each session begins to maintain a calm and quiet environment for the animals.
After the session, visitors can stay and complete the park quiz or the younger children's trail to learn even more about minibeasts.
Suitable for all ages.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
