Access needs

  • The park has a steep slope from the 'small gate'. Those with mobility issues are advised to enter via the large gate. No dogs (due to abundant wildlife in park) apart from registered assistance dogs.  No ridden cycles or electric scooters due to narrow paths.

Friends of The Tarn invite you to their summer 'Teas in The Tarn' every Sunday in July, from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Come and join us in this little gem of a park. Enjoy a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and wonderful home made cakes baked by the volunteers.  Enjoy the relaxing surroundings of the lake with abundant wildlife. ALL funds raised go to help the upkeep of the park.
