Our newest creative initiative, The Science Playhouse, brings science and the performing arts together in a unique way. The project supports young people from local secondary schools to become Science Ambassadors for Engineering Minds. As Ambassadors, they will take a leadership role by exploring the topic of Science Exploration, working with professional artists and STEM tutors, and transforming scientific ideas into engaging stories, characters and performances.
Using drama, puppetry and storytelling, these young people will create imaginative science-themed plays designed to make Space Exploration fun and accessible for younger children. They will learn to communicate scientific ideas clearly, build confidence in public speaking, and develop teamwork, creativity and leadership skills.
