Rooted in Greenwich: Trees, Culture & Community is a free one-day autumn celebration in Greenwich Park, presented as part of Black History 365 and the Urban Tree Festival. The event explores the connections between trees, culture, food, migration, memory and well-being through guided walks, creative activities, storytelling, well-being sessions and a bring-to-share lunch. Developed with input from local African and Caribbean community conversations, the day is open to everyone and offers a chance to experience Greenwich Park and its trees through a different lens.
Funded by the council through Create.
