Blackheath Halls welcomes Olamony, an Afro-fusion ensemble led by Nigerian-born musician Ọlá Akíndípe.
Blending driving rhythms, punchy horn arrangements, Latin-influenced piano and socially conscious lyrics, the band's sound draws on a range of musical traditions and influences, including Yinka Ayefele, Fela Kuti and Angélique Kidjo.
Joined by a multinational line-up of musicians, Olamony's performances combine Afro-fusion with jazz, funk and global musical influences.
This event has unreserved seating, with seating available for all audience members as well as space for those who wish to dance.
