Just turn up on that dayJoin us for a special event led by Lottie, a talented professional actor and storyteller!
Lottie will bring along her Magic Box, which holds two nature-themed stories - one for the morning (11am to 12noon) and one for the afternoon (2pm to 3pm) - just waiting to be brought to life.
She’ll guide you through a themed adventure where you can role-play, move around an imaginary space, and sing songs.
Each session encourages listening, speaking, and spatial awareness, helping children follow simple instructions in a structured yet flexible environment.
Adults are encouraged to join in with their children, boosting the kids’ confidence and creating a shared experience full of fun and imagination.
All stories are original, written by Lottie and her writing partner Rebecca, and are sure to spark children’s imaginations - while keeping grown-ups entertained too!
Open to children up to 8 years old.
Stick around in the Ecology Park and complete the quiz or younger children’s trail to learn more about story characters inspired by the animal world and win a prize.
Sessions are free and no booking is required. These sessions will take place outdoors if the weather permits (otherwise indoors, in our classroom), from 11am-12pm and 2-3pm. It is possible to drop-in; to make the most of the experience arrive at the start time! Ask at the gatehouse for directions.
Children must be accompanied by adults at all times.
Please dress for the weather.
