Introduction to Creative Weaving
Discover the freedom of creative weaving at Freeweaver Studio, a unique textile studio in the heart of Maritime Greenwich. Inspired by Japanese free-weaving traditions, this four-hour workshop invites you to explore colour, texture and the expressive possibilities of cloth.
Working on contemporary floor looms, you'll have access to an extraordinary collection of yarns, including natural fibres, reclaimed threads and thoughtfully sourced materials. Weaving intuitively, you'll create a one-of-a-kind textile to take home, guided by your own curiosity and imagination.
Beginners are warmly welcome. No previous experience is needed, and all materials and guidance are included.
