FreeIn recognition of World Alzheimer’s Month, local residents and carers are invited to an afternoon of discovery and connection at the "Ask About Dementia" event at the Queen’s House, Romney Road, SE10 9NF on Thursday 18 September from 12-3pm.
It's a key part of World Alzheimer's Month, a global campaign run by Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) every September to raise awareness and challenge the stigma surrounding dementia.
With an estimated 1,887 people living with dementia in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, the is a vital step toward building a more understanding and supportive community for everyone.
This innovative event is held in collaboration with Dementia Inclusive Greenwich, Greenwich Carers Centre, and South East London Mind and kindly hosted by Royal Museums Greenwich.
The afternoon will be a chance to meet face-to-face with local support services , enjoy free light refreshments, and amplify the voices of people affected by dementia in a fully accessible and welcoming space.
