Finding Our Story
Join Pretty Hearts CIC for the premiere of Finding Our Story, a youth-led documentary sharing the memories and experiences of long-standing older residents from Woolwich’s Black African community.
Created through interviews led by our young volunteers, the film celebrates African heritage and preserves important local stories for future generations.
The documentary will premiere on the Woolwich Big Screen on 10 October, followed by a Black History Month celebration featuring jollof rice, a much-loved West African dish that brings communities together.
This free event is open to everyone.
