For Queer women, trans and non-binary people.

Inviting artists and community members to co-create a public-facing artwork which will be exhibited in Firepit’s Glass Gallery in celebration of community, care, and collective resistance.

The day will include a grounding meditation, collaborative group agreement‑making, supported individual art‑making with 1:1 facilitation, and a shared vegan and gluten‑free meal. The day will run as two 3 hour sessions with a 1 hour lunch break in-between.

Rooted in queer resistance, self‑authorship, and radical re‑imagining, this anti-disciplinary workshop invites participants to explore personal and collective narratives through mediums such as sustainable textile upcycling, abstract painting and collage. Designed with neurodiversity and trauma-informed practice at its core, this workshop offers a calm, consent‑based space to slow down, reflect, and create within a community setting.

Led by experienced trauma‑informed facilitators with a vast and eclectic combined practice in inclusive LGBTQIA+ arts spaces, Exhibit P* centres underrepresented voices and prioritises wellbeing, sustainability, and connection.

No prior artistic experience needed.
