Graham Corbould has had a number of prestigious support spots - Oyster Band, Phil Odgers (The Men They Couldn’t Hang), Chicken Shack. Graham’s song 'It's the Little things' reached the semi-finals of the UK Songwriting Contest. Of the songs Graham writes, some are humorous, some whimsical and other serious. Never forgetting that audiences are there to be entertained, much effort is put into making songs accessible through strong choruses and verses which carry a story.
Jo Girdlestone’s background is in theatre making (as a performer, youth theatre leader, director and writer). After becoming a Mum in 2009 she picked up her guitar and started writing songs. Jo released her first album (Somewhere Before) in March 2021 and a further EP (Deep Water) in November 2021. Both releases are available via Global Fusion Music and Art or via www.jowritesongs.com
James Hodder, Kent based troubadour who fuses Folk and Americana influences with bittersweet lyrics and storytelling. The lyrics for Wilderness Road, his new album,describe change and new beginnings, which would become a theme for the album.
Ceri James grew up in South Wales but was born in London UK and is well known on the London circuit and beyond. He emerged during the noughties from the New Cross music scene which was much publicised at the time by the NME. To date he has recorded 8 studio albums 3 EPs and 8 singles and has worked with the likes of Gordon Raphael (Strokes) and Glenn Tilbrook (Squeeze) in the past but spends much of his time performing on the London folk circuit these days. Ceri has received radio play on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Kent, BBC 6 Music, Blues and Roots, Resonance FM, Roots & Fusion Pure FM and many more.
Streatham-born Nathan Persad has been writing songs for most of his life. Most of them are true stories, almost none of them are longer than two and a half minutes and all of them are hilarious! But not necessarily intentionally...
