Eager Cycle Coaching is delighted to be partnering with the Royal Borough of Greenwich to run a number of themed cycle rides over the coming months! Join us on our free longer social led-ride from Charlton Park to Gallions Reach Park and then back via the Maryon Park.

This ride is suitable for adults and children aged 11 and above who can ride with good control. This ride will be mainly traffic-free but will also involve some roads and junctions. It's a hilly route at the start and finish so cycles with gears are recommended. Our ride leaders will be there to offer support on all sections of the journey. The route will take us from Charlton Park down to the Thames Path and onto Woolwich, before reaching Gallions Reach Park, where riders can choose to climb Gallions Tor for views over London! After taking in the views and enjoying a short break, we'll ride back to Charlton Park via the Thames Barrier and Maryon Park.

The ride will depart at 9.45am sharp from outside the front of the beautiful Charlton House (Charlton House Charlton Road, Charlton SE7 8RE), which dates back to the Jacobean period. Please arrive at 9.30am so we can start the ride on time! You’ll need to bring your own cycle, which should be in good working order. Remember to wear comfortable clothes that are suitable for the weather.
