Learn a traditional tribal art from western India

Experience Warli art, a traditional tribal art from western India, with our residence artist Pragya Kumar. Pragya will take you through the journey of Warli art, talking about its history, introducing you to this symbol based easy to learn art form which has always been used as a narrative art for telling stories about the communities we live in.

Come and learn about a new art form and make your own Warli painting using natural materials. If you have a thick piece of fabric, approx A4 size that you want to recycle, then please bring it along. All other materials will be provided. Please arrive on time for the start. The workshop is suitable for 7 years and above. Thursday 22 March 6:30pm to 8pm
