Join Sarah aka Harper Bizarre Art for fun times of drinking and painting. No experience in either is required.
For the first of this monthly session at House of Denna, we’ll be painting our own versions of a Banksy classic, you are free to choose your colours and style. All materials supplied and you get to take your masterpiece home! Enjoy a glass of Prosecco on arrival. Further drinks available for sale at the bar throughout the class.
THE ARTIST Sarah J Harper works under the name Harper Bizarre Art as a multi-disciplinary artist. She is based in SE18, London. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including playing a part in a variety of exhibitions in key London venues including the Saatchi Gallery, Tate Modern, and Tate Britain. Sarah’s work has featured in a variety of publications, including books and periodicals as well as online exhibitions.
Sarah studied ceramics, mosaic and other arts at college. She now produces unique artwork, sometimes naughty, sometimes nice, and often thought-provoking. Her work can be an expression of everyday life with a witty and quirky edge, and a hope for justice and equality. Sarah has successfully led and facilitated art workshops, for both adults of all ages and children, that provide a platform for art as a form of self-expression, education and fun. This has often been for people with little or no art experience, or confidence in their abilities.
