The concert includes works by two female composers as part of Venus Blazing, our commitment to programming work by women. The evening begins with two complex and intense works by Lili Boulanger, completed shortly before her death at the age of 24. Noelia Cotuna, winner of Trinity Laban’s Soloists’ Competition 2019 performs Renié’s Harp Concerto before Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique brings the evening to a close. Cadogan Hall is one of London’s most prestigious concert venues in the heart of Chelsea, and a fitting venue for our Symphony Orchestra’s final concert this year.
