Drumming and Singing Workshop for BH365 Community Collaboration

This workshop aims to engage children in a fun and educational celebration of black culture through music.

Event Details:

• Date: 30th May, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
• Location: Thamesmere Library Workshop

Activities: 

• Drumming Session: Children will learn the basics of African drumming, exploring different rhythms and techniques. This hands-on session will provide an opportunity for participants to experience the joy and energy of traditional African music.
• Singing Session: Alongside drumming, children will participate in a singing workshop, learning songs that celebrate black history and culture. This session will focus on vocal techniques, harmony, and the cultural significance of the songs.

Purpose and Benefits:

• Cultural Enrichment: This workshop is designed to educate children about the rich heritage of African music and its influence on various musical genres.
