Opening with the virtuosic bravura of Corelli's Christmas Concerto, the sparkle of Bach's Violin Concerto in E major, the charm of Cimarosa's Oboe Concerto, and the vibrant energy of Vivaldi's Concerto for Strings. A truly uplifting celebration of the season. International violinist, Harriet Mackenzie, 'flawless musicianship' (Gramophone Magazine) 'thrillingly stratospheric' (BBC Music Magazine) and world class oboist James Beatty (who has played on films such as 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Others') join the musicians of Surround Sound for four sparkling baroque concerti.
All profits go to support the wonderful charity 'Music in Action' which provides music lessons for underprivileged children.
