Summary
Abbey Wood Park is made up of three public open spaces, next to one another.

Most facilities can be found in the western part of the park in Finchale Road.

The park features a Grade II-listed sculpture, as well as grass and hard standing areas for informal ball games. There is a multi-use games area and an outdoor gym, installed as part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich's Olympic legacy. There is also a small picnic area next to a children's playground.

Further information
There is a large, Grade II-listed sculpture of dancing ballerinas in the park, named The Delight. It is by the artist Alfred Horace Gerrard. Designed from 1962 onwards, possibly as a commission by the London County Council for inclusion in the building of Thamesmead, it was unveiled in 1967.
