Hornfair Park

Hornfair Park
A large park, with formal gardens and plenty of areas for different activities.

It is home to Charlton Lido and Lifestyle Club, run by Better, providing swimming, floodlit tennis and state-of-the-art gym facilities. There is also a cafe at the complex.

In the park there is a multi-use games area, a children's playground and paddling pool (summer holiday period only). There are also football pitches with changing facilities for hire and a BMX track.

We ask that everyone attending our paddling pools with their children ensure that babies and toddlers are wearing the appropriate swimwear when enjoying paddling pools. This can be a swimming nappy, or swimming costumes.

Open from Saturday 23 July until Saturday 4 September. The pool is open from 10am to 6pm. There will be intervals throughout the day where the pool is closed for maintenance.

All children must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for maintaining the current government guidance on social distancing and washing hands before and after using the paddling pool.

Do not enter if you or any member of your household has COVID-19 symptoms or is self–isolating. Children should not use the paddling pool if they are clinically vulnerable.

We may need to close the pool for cleaning and maintenance at other times, which could result in sessions being cancelled.
